The Steky model III with a 25mm f:3.5 Stekinar lens, front cap, yellow filter, original leather ever ready case and the original wooden box! It was a very popular spy and private-eye camera because of its size and price. With the leather case it weighs 6.0 oz and measures 2 1/2 inches high, 1 3/4″ wide overall and 1 5/8″ deep including lens. It comes with a UV Filter, film cassette, take-up spool and leather case. The Steky cameras are very popular among collectors who specialize in subminiatures. This is a truly excellent example of the model III in exceptional condition from the camera to the leather case to the original wooden box. A great find for the right collector!

VINTAGE STEKY III 16mm Sub-Miniature Camera w/ 2.5cm – 25mm f/3.5 Lens & Case. For sale is a hard to find Steky camera in Nickel & chrome finish, with leather case, camera made in Japan, The camera appears to be in good condition. I did trip the shutter lever at 25, 50, & 100 & noticed it’s speed change. But it has not been film tested professionally. This Camera is in good used condition. The leather around the camera is slightly wrinkled, &. Shows wear on bottom corners as pictured. This camera was launched in 1947 (Occupied Japan) by Riken Kogaku (Richo), Japan and used 16mm film. It was produced as a high-quality camera. While the other midget cameras used 17.5 mm-wide film with leader paper, Steky adopted the film cartridge into which 16 mm-wide rolled film was inserted. And the picture size of Steky was 10 x 14mm. In addition, although the frame counter on the camera side has the scale up to 24 exp. It takes up to 20 exposures in most of the cases using the 45 cm-long 16 mm film. Camera type : 16mm miniature camera. Lens : Stekinar Anastigmat f3.5/25mm (three-element). Lens mount : Screw-in mount. Shutter : two-sector behind-the-lens shutter. Shutter speeds : B, 1/25, 1/50, 1/100sec. Finder magnification : 0.67x. Film winding : by film wind knob.
