VINTAGE STEKY III 16mm Sub-Miniature Camera w/ 2.5cm – 25mm f/3.5 Lens & Case. For sale is a hard to find Steky camera in Nickel & chrome finish, with leather case, camera made in Japan, The camera appears to be in good condition. I did trip the shutter lever at 25, 50, & 100 & noticed it’s speed change. But it has not been film tested professionally. This Camera is in good used condition. The leather around the camera is slightly wrinkled, &. Shows wear on bottom corners as pictured. This camera was launched in 1947 (Occupied Japan) by Riken Kogaku (Richo), Japan and used 16mm film. It was produced as a high-quality camera. While the other midget cameras used 17.5 mm-wide film with leader paper, Steky adopted the film cartridge into which 16 mm-wide rolled film was inserted. And the picture size of Steky was 10 x 14mm. In addition, although the frame counter on the camera side has the scale up to 24 exp.
