Kiev-30 is a Soviet miniature (microformat) scale camera, produced at the Kiev plant “Arsenal” from 1975 to 1987. The camera uses 16-mm non-perforated or perforated photographic or cinematographic film in a plastic cassette from the Vega-2 camera, which looks like a 110-type cassette. The cassette is designed for 25 frames with a size of 13 × 17 mm. It is not possible to rewind the tape. It is possible to change the cassette at any time, while only a small part of the film (about 20 mm) was exposed. The body – metal, consists of an outer removable casing and an inner opaque body, which contains the lens, shutter, film rewind mechanism. The external removable aluminum casing houses the viewfinder; in the transport position, the casing covers the shutter release button, shutter, lens and focusing ring. The shutter is cocked and the film is rewound by pushing-out the inner camera body into the casing. Curtain shutter with horizontal movement of metal shutters. Located in front of the lens. The shutter has a constant slit, the shutter speed is regulated by changing the shutter speed. Only three shutter speeds are possible – 1/30, 1/60 and 1/200 seconds. When cocked, a red mark is visible on the shutter. Setting of shutter speeds – by a ring brought out on the side wall of the chamber. Automatic self-resetting frame counter. The sync contact “X” is installed on the inner case, the sync delay can be any. There is no clip for a flash. The viewfinder is frame, sighting is possible only with the cover extended. Lens “Industar-M”, coated, relative aperture 1: 3.5, focal length 23 mm. The diaphragm is two-blade, with a square aperture. Control – a ring brought out to the side wall of the chamber. On the outer casing there is a calculator – a tabular exposure meter for approximate determination of shutter speed and aperture based on weather conditions. The camera was supplied with a soft case and a lanyard. The kit included a disk for the single-spiral photo tank, which was the most widespread in those years. There is no tripod socket. From Philly With Love. 1927 Ansco Memo 1st 35mm 1/2 Camera US Made Velostigmat Lens TESTED RARE V15. This antique 1927 Ansco Memo is the 1st 35mm half frame camera to be made in the United States. It has a Wollensak Velostigmat f/6.3 lens and comes with both film canisters. It has a couple of scuff and wear marks on its exterior and haze inside of its lens. All shutter speeds sound correct, but the shutter release needs to be fully pushed up in order for it to work properly. The lens is free of any fungus or separation to its elements. All settings adjustments are smooth. See photos and the Description above.
