ARGUS SEVENTY-FIVE VINTAGE FILM CAMERA – RECONDITIONED AND FILM TESTED! PLEASE READ THE WHOLE DESCRIPTION FOR VALUABLE INFORMATION! This is a GREAT WORKING vintage 620 film camera, BUT YOU CAN USE MODERN 120 FILM IN THIS VINTAGE CAMERA! IT ALSO HAS THREE RARE EXTRAS – A CLOSE-UP ATTACHMENT, AND A FLASH COVER IN EXCELLENT CONDITION and ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL/DIRECTIONS! TO SEE HOW TO MODIFY THE SPOOL ENDS OF 120 SO YOU CAN USE IT IN THIS CAMERA – SEE THE IMAGE ABOVE IN THE PHOTOGRAPHS OF THIS AD! IT IS WHAT IS REFERRED TO AS A “MOCK” TLR [Twin Lens Reflex]. It is not an authentic TLR. With this “mock TLR” you will see the same image in the top viewfinder which gives you the view through the TOP LENS. You do NOT actually see what the BOTTOM lens sees directly, as you would in a authentic TLR. THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM THOUGH! Despite not being a “true” TLR, this camera still takes wonderful photographs, and you won’t have any problems as long as you stay the distances away from the subjects as the manual (or close up lens attachment) states on its side ring. It may take a little practice to learn how to get the modified 120 film roll into the camera, but it is not difficult. It just takes a little practice. See the video at: EASILY LOAD ARGUS 75 CAMERA WITH 120 FILM. The Argus 75 [Seventy-five] cameras were produced around 1949 up until 1964. They are VERY EASY TO USE and take great photographs. They has a glass lens, instead of plastic lenses as other cameras have. This makes the image quality much better. See the photographs in the background of this listing for pictures I took with this camera on Black and White film. This camera comes with: A flash unit and a RARE flash cover in perfect shape, no cracks or chips! It also comes with the original owner’s manual and a leather case that is in great condition. Stitching is in place with no missing stitches. In addition, there is a VERY RARE “slip on close-up lens attachment”. The close-up lens is used on the BOTTOM LENS and is used to take photos that are from 4′ to 6′ away – like images of friends and family. It helps to use a measuring tape to measure your distance. This is how it was done in the “old days”. ALL items ARE IN GREAT CONDITION! I recommend that you DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE FLASH COVER OFF, because it is VERY HARD to get it off and on. I really had to VERY CAREFULLY struggle with it so I could put a blue bulb in and flash unit. You don’t want to crack the cover, because these are very rare and hard to find. I do not know if the flash works because I did not test it. Flash bulbs are getting more and more difficult to find, so I suggest you just use the flash for display purposes. This camera can use black and white or color 120 film. You just need to modify the ends of the film rolls on both versions to be able to use them in the Argus seventy-five camera. SEE IMAGE ABOVE IN THE PICTURES TO SEE HOW TO DO THIS! If you don’t develop your own black and white film, I recommend you use the following company. They do quality fairly priced professional work. I use them often. They are professional and very helpful if you have questions. THEY PROCESS AND PRINT BLACK AND WHITE AND COLOR FILM & PRINTS. PROCESS ONE FILM PROCESSORS in Overland, Kansas. For getting photos from this Argus camera that will be the original size, you will want to designate on the order form “NO CROP”. This way you will get 4″ x 4″ sized SQUARE images. The negative image size is 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″. REMEMBER TO ASK FOR YOUR ORIGINAL OLD METAL 620 FILM SPOOL BE SENT BACK FROM THE FILM PROCESSOR! HAVE FUN WITH THIS QUALITY CAMERA! Learn what it was like to take photographs in the “old days”, before the digital camera did it all for you.

Kiev-30M is an upgraded version of the legendary Kiev-30, produced by the Arsenal Factory in Kyiv between 1983 and 1990. Like its predecessor, it was designed for 16mm unperforated film, making it one of the smallest fully mechanical cameras ever made in the USSR – often referred to as a spy camera for its discreet size and function. What sets the 30M apart is its refined mechanics, improved film transport system, and modern design with ribbed grip. It’s compact, precise, and full of Cold War character. Type: Subminiature film camera. Film format: 16mm unperforated film in special cassette (not included). Frame size: 13×17 mm. Lens: Industar-M 23mm f/3.5 (coated). 1.5m to infinity. Shutter speeds: 1/30 – 1/200 sec. Aperture range: f/3.5 to f/11. Film advance: Sliding body mechanism (pull to cock). Flash sync: PC sync socket. Power: Fully mechanical (no batteries required). 85 × 40 × 30 mm. Made in: USSR, Arsenal Factory (Kyiv). ? Backstory – From Pocket to Power. I found this Kiev-30M at an antique fair in Chernivtsi, inside a Soviet cigarette case. The guy who owned this never smoked – he just wanted people to think he wasn’t taking photos. After a gentle clean and a full dry test, I was amazed at how smooth the sliding mechanism was. The shutter fires perfectly, the optics are clear, and the camera’s minimalist beauty still holds up. Whether for shooting, collecting, or displaying – this is a pocket-sized piece of espionage history. Fully tested and working. Shutter responsive at both speeds. Lens is clean: no haze, fungus, or scratches. Sliding mechanism smooth and functional. Viewfinder clear and usable. Body in excellent vintage condition – minor wear from age. Film cassette and film not included (reloadable cassettes available online). ? Professionally packaged with bubble wrap and rigid boxes. ? Feel free to send a message if you have questions or need additional photos. ?? The Kiev-30M is more than just a camera – it’s a compact Cold War relic that still works like a charm.

Kiev-30 is one of the most fascinating subminiature film cameras ever produced in the USSR. Manufactured at the Arsenal Factory in Kyiv from 1974 to 1983, it was designed for 16mm unperforated film, typically cut from 35mm stock – and intended for discreet, even covert photography. Often nicknamed the ” Soviet spy camera, ” the Kiev-30 features a sliding mechanism, a sharp fixed-focus lens, and compact dimensions that made it easy to carry in a pocket or a coat sleeve. Whether you’re a collector, Cold War history buff, or fan of obscure photo gear – this tiny marvel delivers! Type: Subminiature film camera. Film format: 16mm unperforated film in special cassette (not included). Frame size: 13×17 mm. Lens: Industar-M 23mm f/3.5, coated. Focus: Fixed-focus (from 1.5m to infinity). Shutter speeds: 1/30 – 1/200 sec. Aperture range: f/3.5 to f/11. Film advance: Manual sliding body mechanism. Flash sync: PC socket. Power: Fully mechanical (no batteries needed). 85 × 40 × 28 mm. Made in: USSR, Arsenal Factory, Kyiv. ? Backstory – Pocket Secrets. I found this Kiev-30 inside an old leather pouch at a flea market in Poltava. It used to belong to a man who worked in’telecommunications’. But never said what that meant. Mysterious enough for me. After giving it a careful inspection and running a dry test, I was surprised by the precision of the mechanism, clear optics, and smooth sliding action. This camera may be tiny, but it has the soul of a tank. Fully tested and working. Shutter operates at both speeds. Lens clean – no haze, fungus, or scratches. Body opens/closes smoothly, film advance mechanism works. Great cosmetic condition with only light signs of use. Cassette and film not included (collector or reloadable formats can be found online). ? Carefully packed in bubble wrap and sturdy box. Just message me – I’m happy to help! ?? The Kiev-30 is not just a camera – it’s a miniature Cold War relic with real photographic power in the palm of your hand.
