Welcome to our listing and thanks for visiting. After viewing this item, please check our other listings. Here is a nice mec16 SB camera. We believe this would be considered a subminiature camera, though it is larger in size than the Minox cameras. On the top, it is marked “mec16″ and also “SB”. On the back edge, it has “Made In Germany”. Serial number is 2610020. The camera measures about four inches long. The one end pulls out from the rest of the camera to take a photograph- a neat design. The advance lever is on the back of the camera near the one corner. There is also light meter on the one front corner- this is where it is marked “Gossen”. The lens is a Rodenstock Heligon 22mm f2. We are unsure of the exact vintage of this camera, but it may be from the 1960s. The exterior of the camera is in very good condition. A few very minor rub marks. The exterior might benefit from a gentle cleaning. We did not receive an instruction manual with this camera and have never owned an example before. We tried the shutter and it does seem to work fine. Still has a roll of film inside. The light meter seems to work as well, though we are unsure how accurate it is. Also comes with a small brown case which is probably the original case, but is unmarked. The photos above are not the best, but we hope that they will help those who are interested. We will do our best to answer any questions. Thanks and have a nice day. There will be no exceptions. We hope that we have described our cameras to complete satisfaction. We are not on-line everyday though, so please be patient for the reply. This is to cover costs of boxes and packing material. We do not make any profit from this.
