Rare subminiature camera Beauty 16. One of the rarest subminiature japanese cameras made by Taiyodo in the late 40s and early 50s. Made for export only in very limited quantities. A great piece for subminiature collectors. Made in Occupied Japan in the leather case. See the photos to evaluate the general condition. It works, but not properly, shutter bottom is not smoooth, Lens mechanism is not working properly too. The leather case is broken, see photo number 7. The take up spool is missing. So what you see is what you get. So the price I asked is compatible with a camera that need a CLA (cleaning, lubrification and adjustment). Please see the photos and evaluate by yourself. The camera looks nice for its age with some patina from use, it has been around a while and shows it, but it has not been abused, could be cleaned up a bit. The shutter works, and sounds accurate, the aperture works as it should, the advance works as it should. Also it comes with 2 Very Rare film cassettes!! Which you will need if you decide to try film through it!! This is one of the coolest looking half frame cameras ever made!!! Be the first one on your block to have one!!!!! Rare Cold War Soviet KGB Spy Camera Purse Bag

Rare Cold War Soviet KGB Spy Camera Purse Bag. This KGB concealed spy camera was used from late 1950’s to Early 1970’s or possibly 80’s. I estimate this example to be from the 1960’s. Fitted with the F-21 Ajax subminiature camera, that used 21mm film cut from 35mm. It took pictures by pressing on the side of the leather purse. Inside a handle-leaver plate opens the square cut out and presses the shutter release at the same time. This example has the KGB seral numbers and an advanced F-stop selector f16, f2.8 and f5.6. The camera is untested, but can be removed and reinstalled. There are two cloth pieces installed on ether side to conceal the mechanism. The spy purse has an ID that came with it originally. Don’t know for sure if it was an agent posing as an innocent worker perhaps? Measures 11.5 inches tall from handle 7.25 wide and 2.5 inches wide.
