Rare subminiature camera Beauty 16. One of the rarest subminiature japanese cameras made by Taiyodo in the late 40s and early 50s. Made for export only in very limited quantities. A great piece for subminiature collectors. Made in Occupied Japan in the leather case. See the photos to evaluate the general condition. It works, but not properly, shutter bottom is not smoooth, Lens mechanism is not working properly too. The leather case is broken, see photo number 7. The take up spool is missing. So what you see is what you get. So the price I asked is compatible with a camera that need a CLA (cleaning, lubrification and adjustment). Please see the photos and evaluate by yourself. The camera looks nice for its age with some patina from use, it has been around a while and shows it, but it has not been abused, could be cleaned up a bit. The shutter works, and sounds accurate, the aperture works as it should, the advance works as it should. Also it comes with 2 Very Rare film cassettes!! Which you will need if you decide to try film through it!! This is one of the coolest looking half frame cameras ever made!!! Be the first one on your block to have one!!!!!
