Vtg 1950's HIT Subminiature Spy Camera & Film Roll made in Japan
The product is a vintage subminiature spy camera called HIT, manufactured by Tougodo Optical in Japan during the 1950s. It comes with a film roll and has a format of 14mm x 14mm. The camera measures 1 5/16″ tall, 2″ wide and is 1 5/16 from front to back. I have not tested the camera but the shutter arm works when pressed, the film advance knob works and the lenses are not broken. The back of the camera has a black vinyl decorative covering and half of that has peeled off over time. The camera comes with a roll of 14mm Kiku film. Since I’m not familiar with this type of film I’m not sure if the film has been used or not, the paper starting sleeve is around the actual film. The film for this camera produces 10 – 14mm x 14mm photos. Great for collectors, to display or it may, very possibly, be still usable.

A cute little spy camera. This is marked Hit Made In Japan on the lens. Looks to be in overall good or better used condition with some wear. The shutter will fire, but it is slightly sluggish. The inside is not rusty, the one panel is just a dark color. Case is in overall good to very good condition. Comes with the original box.
