Minox Subminiature Model B Camera- Working Great. 2 Rolls of Film- One is brand new in the box (box has some damage) and the second is in the Camera with 16 Exposures from prior owner and testing by me. Probably the most iconic of all subminiature cameras, this is a fine example of the excellent Minox B camera. This camera is in excellent condition with minimal wear. This camera has been fully tested and is fully working. The shutter works accurately and reliably at all speeds. The winding and shutter cocking mechanism is working properly. Focusing is working properly. Viewfinder is Clean and Clear. Built in light meter is working and responds to light. Very nice as seen in the detailed photos. Kiev-30 is a Soviet miniature (microformat) scale camera, produced at the Kiev plant “Arsenal” from 1975 to 1987. The camera uses 16-mm non-perforated or perforated photographic or cinematographic film in a plastic cassette from the Vega-2 camera, which looks like a 110-type cassette. The cassette is designed for 25 frames with a size of 13 × 17 mm. It is not possible to rewind the tape. It is possible to change the cassette at any time, while only a small part of the film (about 20 mm) was exposed. The body – metal, consists of an outer removable casing and an inner opaque body, which contains the lens, shutter, film rewind mechanism. The external removable aluminum casing houses the viewfinder; in the transport position, the casing covers the shutter release button, shutter, lens and focusing ring. The shutter is cocked and the film is rewound by pushing-out the inner camera body into the casing. Curtain shutter with horizontal movement of metal shutters. Located in front of the lens. The shutter has a constant slit, the shutter speed is regulated by changing the shutter speed. Only three shutter speeds are possible – 1/30, 1/60 and 1/200 seconds. When cocked, a red mark is visible on the shutter. Setting of shutter speeds – by a ring brought out on the side wall of the chamber. Automatic self-resetting frame counter. The sync contact “X” is installed on the inner case, the sync delay can be any. There is no clip for a flash. The viewfinder is frame, sighting is possible only with the cover extended. Lens “Industar-M”, coated, relative aperture 1: 3.5, focal length 23 mm. The diaphragm is two-blade, with a square aperture. Control – a ring brought out to the side wall of the chamber. On the outer casing there is a calculator – a tabular exposure meter for approximate determination of shutter speed and aperture based on weather conditions.
