Vintage 1960’s Stuzzi Memocord Spy recorder with Sennheiser MM-61 fountain pen microphone, Sennheiser MM-26 clip microphone, remote on/off switch, telephone recording tap, earphone, Minox Spy camera, Minox flash, Minox 2 pack film, map measuring tool, Memocord cassette tape, body harness to carry and conceal recorder and waterproof hard case. This is a complete kit with recorder and all accessories housed in a foam lined hard case. This is a original 1960’s complete kit with all original accessories just the way I received it. The only item that has been upgraded is the case this kit came in. The original case was long ago damaged, broken hinges, broken larch, disintegrated foam and was no longer usable so It was upgraded to a newer hard case. All other items are original to this kit as I received it. The Memocord tape recorder has been serviced and cleaned and works very well. The kit came with four different microphones. A microphone built in to the recorder, a Sennheiser MM-26 clip on microphone, a Sennheiser MM-61 fountain pen microphone and a telephone recording microphone. All microphones have been cleaned and checked and all are in very good working order. The recorder comes with a cloth body harness to carry the recorder concealed under clothing to use for covert recordings. The kit includes a remote on/off switch that can be hidden in a pocket to control the recorder when it is used covertly. Kit includes one original cassette tape in good condition. These recorders used their own proprietary cassette tape with a built in tape counter. Memocord recorders were used by many intelligence agencies around the world and was a favorite of the German Stasi. The Memocord used with the Sennheiser fountain pen microphone and carried in the body harness hidden under clothing was the Stasi preferred method of using this recorder. The Minox camera and flash are in good working order and are in excellent cosmetic condition. These cameras were used by all intelligence agencies around the world from the 1940’s through the 1980’s. They were mainly used for copying documents and set up to take close up photos. They came with a measuring chain attached that had marked increments for measuring the distance from documents to be able to quickly take photos. The kit also includes a map measuring device to accurately measure distance between two points on a map. All items are in very good working condition. It is rare to find recorders and accessories from this time period that are in working condition. Nice piece of cold war history.
