This lens can also be used on Canon R. Camera’s with proper adapter that is not included. Can also be used on digital. Camera’s like: Olympus OM-D, Panasonic GX8, Panasonic GH-4, GH-5, Fuji X-Pro3, XE-2 and Fuji XT-4, Sony a5100, Alpha a6500 and full frame Sony A-7rIII with. Lens uses E39mm filters. Minimum focus distance is4 feet or 1.1 meter. 8/8.5 of 10. No dings or dents. Smooth and clean aperture blades with some lubrication on them. For a three element lens. Comes with lens caps included. Start 35 , made in 1950, is a simple Bakelite eye level camera for 24x24mm on 35mm Bolta size roll film. “Start 35″ is molded into the top. Top plate removes to load the film. Fixed focus f8, B/I shutter. Original box says, “Start Junior Pen Camera”. Item is tested for function, but can’t guarantee accuracy. Appearance of the item. Please check on the photos for detailed condition of the product. The shutter works well. 2 apertures (S and W). Finder glass has a crack (Does not affect view: See photo) Lens has no haze or fungus. Takes 35mm Bolta type paperback film (Not included).

Rare Vintage Showa Optical Works MIOJ Gemflex Subminiature TLR Camera

This tiny camera is in parts or not working condition and is best used for display only. It is missing some leatherette and what is there is peeling and lifting in some spots. The shade on top needs a little encouragement to open all the way, and the viewfinder is very dusty. That said, it is a joy to look down into this tiny viewfinder and see the world through it. The lens unit seems loose and can be jiggled side to side. When held in the right position (turned all the way clockwise), the shutter can be fired at all speeds. The aperture control also works. The pegs on the bottom are a bit bent so the camera doesn’t sit perfectly flat. Still a fun example of a fantastic price of 1950s Japanese design and something I’ll miss when it sells.
