The MEC 16 is a German 16 mm subminiature camera launched in 1957 by Feinwerktechnik Gmbh of Lahr, Germany. The lens is a Rodenstock Heligon 1:2/22mm with diaphragm working on principle of “cat’s pupil”. Gold with carrying case and chain.
“Start 35″ is molded into the top. Top plate removes to load the film. Fixed focus f8, B/I shutter. Takes 35mm Bolta type paperback film (Not included). Finder glass has a crack (Does not affect view: See photo).

With the negatives 10x14mm can be obtained satisfactory prints size 6×8.5 cm. All features have been tested and work properly. Shutter speeds look appropriate. Glass on lenses is clean, no fungus.
