The camera has not been tested and I cannot guarantee functionality. I do not know the full history of the camera. See photos for full description. Camera is in good condition. Comes with a brown leather case. Part of the camera slides open to reveal the lens. Camera is missing its chain. See Double AA battery for size comparison in pic. Includes Camera Rich-Ray 35 Super Start With Case, Manual, Filter, film cases (empty). Camera has not been tested. Nomura Optical Company made the first Start 35 in 1948. From the beginning of the production of the Start II the Ikko-ska name was used. The first Start camera used single film sheaths, each containing one piece of 35mm film. It used bolts film which was a 35mm film with a paper backing rather than sprockets. The film stopped being produced in 1950s, soon after production began. The spool was the same size as a 35mm film cassette, so in theory, you can load some film. The Case seems to be made with some kind of animal skin (maybe crocodile).

A rare and unusual camera! This is a Ticka Pocket Watch Camera in good condition. The camera is in good cosmetic condition with some signs of use, and considering it’s over 100 years old, I’d say it’s pretty good. Some plating wear, scratches and dents, but everything is intact and it appears to be sound mechanically. From what I can find this camera was made between 1905-14 under license from the Expo Camera Co of New York. It took 16x22mm photos on the film coiled inside, and has a fixed focus f16/30mm meniscus lens. Very rare and hard to find, this would make a great curiosity or addition to your camera collection!
