A pair of wonderful vintage Tessina 35 mm subminiture cameras, one black the other silver. Quite tiny at 2 1/2″ x 2″ x 1 5 1/5 ounces uses standard 35 mm film. The Tessina 35 is custom built with Swiss chronmeter presion. It’s jewelled mechanisum with ruby stones eliminates friction and wear like a fine Swiss watch. Shutter speeds are 1/2 – 1/500 of a second. These unique cameras comes with the Tessina period l case and box, instruction guides , sales literature, feltlined Tessina leather case, Tessina box case, tessina tripod plate with neck chain for carrying around your neck or mounting it on a table clamp or tripod, Tessina daylight film self loader. Steineck ABC subminiature spy watch camera, c. Complete, with brown leather strap and film disk. Condition : Excellent overall, some chrome tarnishing, optics clean, shutter triggers but its operation/mechanism is not guaranteed. The Steineck ABC wrist watch camera made by Steineck Kamerawerke orignally in Tutzing and later in Papenheim. There are no watch parts or watch face and no attempt to disguise it’s form as a camera. The back does resemble a wrist watch and has standard fitments for a wrist strap. Rudolph Steineck, later associated with the Tessina and patented it; U. Patent 2,949,833, filed 1 December 1954, Twin-Lens Mirror-Reflex Camera. He lived at Via Morcucco 2, Lugano, Switzerland at the time.
