This tiny camera is in parts or not working condition and is best used for display only. It is missing some leatherette and what is there is peeling and lifting in some spots. The shade on top needs a little encouragement to open all the way, and the viewfinder is very dusty. That said, it is a joy to look down into this tiny viewfinder and see the world through it. The lens unit seems loose and can be jiggled side to side. When held in the right position (turned all the way clockwise), the shutter can be fired at all speeds. The aperture control also works. The pegs on the bottom are a bit bent so the camera doesn’t sit perfectly flat. Still a fun example of a fantastic price of 1950s Japanese design and something I’ll miss when it sells.
